Thoughts About Birthdays

Here’s the deal. I think you should only be awarded for accomplishments. On your birthday, you’ve accomplished nothing but the basic human instinct of survival for a year.

And really, every day that you’re alive should already be celebrated. That’s why people should celebrate happy hours and not happy birthdays.
