Thoughts About Theme Parks

I’ve seen a total of three Eiffel Towers in my life. Three. And I’m not counting the Eiffel Tower they have in Paris, Texas that’s wearing a big red cowboy hat. Because at least that’s original. I’m talking about replica of the famous Eiffel Tower in Paris, France.

I’m not sure why some theme parks are bent on having you visit “another country” as though you’re on vacation, when going to the theme park itself is already a vacation.

I’m talking about, of course, Walt Disney’s Epcot Center (and also the Las Vegas strip). I’m at Disney World (or Vegas), man! I don’t need to pretend like I’m in France. If I wanted to go to France, I would’ve saved money to go to France. But no. I wanted to go to Disney World (or Vegas) for the family reunion (or bachelor’s party).

But I get why some people need that escape from that escape. So here’s a list of the countries represented at both Walt Disney World’s Epcot Center and the Las Vegas Strip so you can plan your getaway’s getaway.

There’s actually a bunch of American-themed hotels, resorts and casinos in Vegas. I just couldn’t list them all.
